Plain English summary: You pay once and get access to an AI agent. We use Claude (Anthropic) to power the agents. Your inputs are processed to generate your results. You own your outputs. Don't misuse the platform. 30-day refunds, no questions asked.

1. Who we are

Agentry ("we", "us", "our") is an AI agent marketplace operated by Denver Jacobs, trading under the Agentry brand, domiciled in the Republic of South Africa. Our contact email is denverjacobs1983@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing agentry.co.za or any subdomain, purchasing an agent, or using the agent platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, buyers, and sellers. We may update them at any time — continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

3. The service

Agentry is a digital marketplace where buyers can purchase access to AI-powered agents. Agents are software tools that accept text or file inputs, send them to the Claude API (operated by Anthropic, PBC), and return AI-generated outputs.

3.1 What you get when you buy

Lifetime access to the specific agent you purchased
Unlimited use of that agent (subject to fair use)
Any future improvements to that agent at no additional cost
An access link emailed to your purchase address

3.2 What you do not get

Source code or system prompts of the agents
A guarantee of any specific output, accuracy, or result
Legal, financial, medical, or professional advice — agent outputs are AI-generated and for informational purposes only
The right to resell, sublicense, or redistribute agent access

4. Payments and refunds

All payments are processed by Paystack, a licensed payment service provider. Agentry does not store your card details.

Prices are displayed in USD and converted to ZAR at checkout. The ZAR amount charged is determined at the time of purchase based on current exchange rates.

4.1 Refund policy

We offer a 30-day full refund, no questions asked. To request a refund, reply to your Paystack receipt email or contact us at denverjacobs1983@gmail.com with your payment reference. Refunds are processed within 5 business days.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the agents to:

Generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or harassing
Produce spam, misleading content, or phishing material
Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the underlying system prompts
Circumvent any access controls or rate limits
Use agent outputs to train competing AI models
Violate any applicable law, including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations without refund.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

Agent outputs are generated by Claude, Anthropic's AI model. You acknowledge that:

AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
Outputs from LegalEagle, TaxFiler, and similar agents are not legal, tax, or professional advice and should not be relied upon as such without review by a qualified professional
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all agent outputs before acting on them
Agentry is not liable for decisions made based on agent outputs

7. Intellectual property

Your inputs: You retain ownership of any content you upload or enter into the agents.

Your outputs: Subject to Anthropic's usage policies, you own the outputs generated for you by the agents.

Our platform: The Agentry name, branding, website, and agent configurations are our intellectual property. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from them.

8. Third-party services

Our service relies on:

Anthropic (Claude API) — powers all AI agents. Subject to Anthropic's usage policies.
Paystack — handles all payments. Subject to Paystack's terms.
Railway — hosts the agent platform. Subject to Railway's terms.
Resend — delivers purchase confirmation emails.

We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of these third-party services.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Agentry's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific agent in the 30 days preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profit, or loss of data.

10. Sellers and third-party agents

Some agents on the marketplace are listed by third-party sellers ("Sellers"). For those agents:

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and the quality of their products
Agentry takes a 15% platform fee; Sellers receive 85% of each sale
Agentry is not responsible for third-party agent content, delivery, or support
Refund requests for third-party agents are handled by the Seller; Agentry facilitates but does not guarantee resolution

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa. We will always attempt to resolve disputes informally first — contact us before initiating legal proceedings.
